Snowball Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy
  • In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt
  •  Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until the dough comes together.
  • Fold in the finely chopped pecans
  • Roll the dough into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the cookies are lightly golden on the bottom
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
