Pumpkin Spice Latte

A healthier version of your favorite pumpkin spice latte, made with real pumpkin puree and maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (adjust according to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 shot espresso (or 1/2 of strong coffee)
  • sprinkles of cinnamon for topping

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and pumpkin spice
  • Warm mixture gently over medium heat, just until it's hot and the ingredients are well mixed together
  • Remove from heat
  • Use a handheld frother to froth the milk until creamy and foamy
  • Pour your espresso or coffee into a mug
  • Gently pour the pumpkin milk misture over the espresso
  • Sprinkle with cinnamon or more pumpkin spice
